Fired up the GPS and drove about four hours to Menzenschwand in the Black Forest area of Germany. At times it was a slow trip due to the traffic around a couple of the towns we passed through. Got checked into our hotel and then drove to Titisee (a small lake nearby). BIG tourist trap - lots of buses and lots of tourists. Found a place to have dinner (killed fours wasps who were trying to drink our beers) and people watch. There were high-end shops right next to the hotel and they were filled with Asian tourists buying everything from knifes to luggage. It was pretty amazing watching all of the activity.
Tomorrow we plan on doing some hiking in the area.
